Yep, my second Con! I would've never have guessed that a Soldier cosplay would be easier to put together than a Scout cosplay, but it's happened! Luckily, my mum's friend has a real helmet as she use to work in the army, flying helicopters I believe... that's what she told us anyway. XD It's very worn, so it doesn't look the same as Soldier's helmet, or rather it does, but it's very damaged, which is nice though because it's realistic.

So I've been gluing, cutting and sewing over the month... like making cardboard patches to stick to my mum's red coat, and sewing bags made out of tights... lolwut!? Yes, they don't look bad, because let's face it, tights is only material. Material = making stuff. They aren't perfect looking, but whatever. They don't work as bags, they only look like bags which is good enough.
